In-Person Educational Rope Workshop in Las Vegas, NV for folks 21+

The Lavender Room, 1800 S. Industrial Rd #207 (upstairs) Las Vegas, NV 89102

Parking is first come first serve, and somewhat limited, so please arrive just a few minutes early to ensure you can find a spot, or consider rideshare options. 

Venue is on the Second Floor and there is currently no elevator option -- please be mindful/prepared for stairs (I'm so sorry) <3 

Wear:

• Rope Tops: Comfortable attire -- avoid spikes, chains, and things rope might get caught on.
• Rope Bottoms & Self-tiers: Comfortable attire -- think yoga/movement friendly; form fitting, non-slip if possible. Avoid Jeans, cargo shorts, and bulky materials if you're self-tying. 

Bring:

• ID & Ticket (Proof of Purchase)
• Preferred Beverage/Snack (we will have both available to all guests, but please bring and particulars you need)
• Note taking tools
• Synthetic Rope if you already own some (loaner rope always available at workshops)
• Curiosity and an open mind

This event is intended to create a small group of individuals/partners of any kind that are ready to learn rope and grow together in this skill by meeting & practicing regularly. To explore while encouraging individual discoveries and implementation of individual modifications/adjustments. 

The idea is we will have a pop-up shop set up for folks to check out Magic's current inventory, ask questions about products, and purchase any rope related items before & after the workshop. There will also be order forms available if you want a specific/custom color or kit for any future enjoyment.

Workshop will start no later than 5:15pm and run for approximately 1.5-2 hours; followed by a Pop-up Shop break before rolling into the Rope Lab/to get more hands-on practice and create some muscle memory. Event concludes at 9:00pm. 

***Workshop materials & light refreshments provided. Rope available for purchase at Pop-up Shop Table during event. Loaner rope will always be an option as well. 

***Due to the small nature and intimacy of the workshop, no refunds will be honored after purchase.

Workshop Growth? 

Yes! The goal here is to grow together on a progressive trajectory. While I cannot guarantee anyone's rate of progress, the hope is folks will 'level up' together in an immersive environment as the content covered will get more and more challenging! 

UPDATES FROM MAGIC:

• May was a huge success - THANK YOU - so we're doing it again in June! Switching to Saturday this month as to not compete with the Father's Day holiday on Sunday 6.21.
  • Looking like we might be adding a second rope lab (by itself) in June -- watch @RopedinMagic's Instagram stories for polls on date/time options! 
  • Hoping to add the first 201 in July; possibly offering both 101 & 201 in July if there's enough interest and folx feel ready for more!
• Regarding Price Increase: I am ADHD & forgot to factor a few things into the price on the first event (my bad, lol), so I did a slight price increase that works out to be about $10 per head. 
• Note to Poly friends: If you are part of a 2+ partnership, that is totally fine and y'all are more than welcome -- tickets for that will = 1 couples ticket + 1 solo ticket for all 3 people to gain entry. If you are a 4-person partnership, get 2 couples tickets. Hope that makes sense, but if you have any questions, just ask!
